you dont need so much storage, you could easily go with just 1 TB of HDD storage

You don't know what he needs it for, don't make stupid assumptions.

Thanks bro the 4770k was a mistake I read an article on It so I posted it and all of the storage would be for games e.g and I am also a you tuber so I will be needing all the space really some people just jump to conclusions don't they :) when I was considering either a z97 or z87 I was thinking do I want to pay an extra 50 pounds for some more overclocking feature and newer bios I was thinking aswell as I am a corsair keyboard fanboy do I want the razor for touchpad or corsair because of the sweet features you get with it the only reason I am going with 8gb as well is because there are no games that can utilize all of the 16gb and I wont be using any applications that will and for the 290x as having 4gb I will get another monitor in the future so that vram sounds quite nice as them being 2560x1440p monitors there is a lot of texture there :) thanks for your feedback and for understanding dude appreciated @JoshM

No reason to change the RM850 if you already have it. You have enough power to run 290x cf.

You might want to get a beefier cooler if you intend on pushing the cpu. You could still get a Z97 board even if you go for the i7 4770K.

The caviar blacks are not worth the extra imo. I would just put a standard HDD in there.

You can get a Crucial MX100 256GB for around £80 which will give you a bit more space for installing games/programs.

The Ram is overpriced too, but I am not going to say swap it. If you like it then go for it.
