RAMDISK?

I keep seeing this in MSI Command Center. Is it worth enabling with just a HDD? Is it safe with auto backups?

safe enough, it will work.

 

I don't recommend doing it without some decent data protection and a good reason, if lights go out on your place you may lost everything on it.

it seem you just need to enable and then assign a drive letter, disk name, disk size and format to FAT32

 

you will also need to create a backup image

RAMDISK is incredibly quick. Works just like RAM though. Computer shuts off? RAMDISK wiped. tl;dr: Just as volatile as actual RAM.

Drive B:/ is 0% full so I'm gonna do a restart and see if it starts storing stuff

Well its in FAT32 the problem was I wasnt selecting drive B. Should I reformat to NTFS?

This is with 16GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz CAS 10 I believe ( Know everything for sure except the CAS )

should be able to verify the RAM CAS using CPUZ ID
