Audio over DVI?

It does work. I have used Audio over DvI before.You either need a monitor that supports this or a dvi to hdmi adapter that goes into the monitor. 

 

To all the people, that say it doesn't work: IN YOUR FACE! :D

DVI can only carry video.

thats what i use for my second monitor is hdmi to dvi and it works

well there you go, ten minutes ago I would have said you couldn't do it either.  

 

I guess you need to have a compatible monitor or converter as the signal is digital.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
