Apple TV 3 and Plex

Can you stream Plex to an ATV3? If so can someone please tell me how, I went looking online and I can't find anything(that makes sense). Any and all help will be appreciated!

It's not an official Apple application that can be installed,  but you can install it by using this guide.

get a chromecast for $30 instead, and just use plex web+googlecast extension, or use your mobile device to play cast your media to your TV

 

chromecast does 1080p, with Dolby Digital Plus multi-channel audio

Alot of the mobile apps also support chromecast, so you're not even gaining much by picking an ATV3 instead.

Something that I discovered recently is that if you have an i device, and Apple TV and a plex server, you can use the plex app to stream via AirPlay to the Apple TV perfectly, no other setup required
