Which AC?

So i really want to play some assassins creed and as the games are 75% off i though id get 2. Ive been told 2 is pretty good so i want that also its the cheapest along with one but i want a newer one ( not black flag ) so is which one revelations, 3 or brotherhood?

I've played 1, 2 and brotherhood. Got bored of the series after that and really liked building up a team of assassins in brotherhood and you could call them in to assassinate people and level them up was fun

my older brother who is a hardcore AC fan, finds black flag's gameplay the best.... So that's my recommendation

Black Flag, the latest one. Although the gameplay is not enjoyable, graphics are mediocre. its still.. Black Flag.

One off my friends may be gving it to me so im avoiding that. which one is the most different from 2 as im probably getting that so i can play on my laptop

i think ill get 3 seems like its going to be the most different from 2 and unity which i may pick up if ubisoft doesn't ubisoft it up

I should start at the first one, than play the second, Brotherhood and Relevations and then Freedom Cry or Black Flag ( Freedom Cry is a Black Flag DLC but also a standalone ).

i dont have that much time (to spend on assassins creed) and im playing it for gameplay not story because ive already seen playthroughs and what not

make sure you do end up playing black flag, out of revelations, ac3, and it I found it to be the most fun.

Story line ==> Assassin's Creed 2 & Brotherhood

 

Game play ==> Revelations ( Bomb system and hook blade ) some improvement had been made in this game

 

Assassin's Creed 3 ==> there a huge different from the previous series, the game play really improved and the location changed from Italy to america 

 

Assassin's Creed black flag ==> I can't tell if it has a story line in the first place but the pirating is really fun
