I don't need an SSD, not concerned about opening programs quickly.

What's the difference between the 4670k and the 4690k? I don't think I will overclock, so is a k series really necessary?

Thanks

Cooler temps, higher speeds, and better overclocking guess that doesn't matter thought, but you could go with the 4690 non K but if you don't want to overclock then get an H97 motherboard

editing i forgot you needed a os

Yea, that's a good build, but I'm not a big fan of Radeon cards. I'd rather spend some more money for more reliability. From what I've heard, Nvidia has better reliability than AMD, and I'm sure that's biased but better safe then sorry. Radeon cards look really appealing, especially with their insane price/performance ratio. Something about AMD being cheaper tells me something about the reliability.

Thanks

Your asking us for help, and your the 1st timer here xDhttp://pcpartpicker.com/p/pmZbCJ Don't belive what you hear, specially not if its something that stupid. AMD/Nvidia really has no difference on reliability, they make chips like a CPU chip and sell them to graphics card makers like Gigabyte, MSI, ect... And the majority of reliability comes from the card maker not the chip maker...  and heres a nice fyi on the price of NVidia cards; Nvidia makes about 25% profit, AMD makes 10% Profit.
