Hello,

I was looking forward in upgrading my pc without actualy building a new one. My motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot and i currently run a 8800GT.

I was wondering what gpu could i install witch would have the highest performace without bottlenecking from my Intel Core 2 quad Q6600 2.4Ghz.

Thanks

Really a 750ti? Arent they superb cards? They wont bottleneck?wow! Ermmm will it run if i have only 620watts in my rig?

It doesn't require extra wattage from your PSU. It just plugs into your motherboard, then plug in your display and start gaming.

We are pretty fast around here. They are pretty good cards. Also no. Atleast not a whole lot. And yes the 750ti is a very efficent card.

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn75twf2oc2gi this is the fastes (clock wise) runing 750ti. So i should go with this one?

And should you recomend changing anything else for extra performance?

750Ti superb? It's an entry level gaming card, I guess it's "superb" at 720p, or 1080 if you run at low to medium quality settings. IMO, the 270 is a better value, unless you just need an nvidia card for some reason (most likely not).

Are you threatening me?!

Most likely the power supply doesn't have pcie 6 pin connectors in that case i would go for the 750 ti reference. If he feels like going for a new psu or some 6 pin to molex i would recommend the 270/x or a  non reference 750 ti depending on his budget.

I have Corsairs HX620w modular psu and i think it does have a 6pin... And im planing to go with ASUS's 750ti
