Ok so I have a Xion XON 560-BK I was wondering is it possible to mod the side panel and put a side window on it

currently looks like:

the side panel bulges out a little where the side panel fans would mount. I'm not sure if I would need to keep the bulge in it but my CPU cooler does come really close to the side

With a dremel ad a pre cut piece of plexi, some double sided tape you should be good to go for like $30

Yes

Get a metal cutting blade for a jigsaw, and cut where you want the window to be. If it is a cheap, very thin case then you will probably bend the metal.

The paint will probably come off around where you cut from the friction.

You can put U shaped rubber around the edges of the hole to cover the edge, and then use epoxy resin, or velcro to attatch glass or acrylic over the hole.
