Can I put an mATX PSU in an ATX case without needing to mount it in some ghetto ways?

I dont know what PSU it is; the case is from Di-Tech; An Austrian Company which has gone bankrupt in Januar

the new case would be from Sharkoon, it costs just 25€ but looks great for the price

EDIT: I did some reasearch and it seems like matx psu's generally fit into atx cases

A standard psu is ATX format and will fit in a standard ATX case, and also most matx cases. There are matx psu's which I think are called SFX form factor.These are usually for smaller cases such as HTPC etc.

Measure the psu width. 150mm wide is an ATX psu, 100mm wide is SFX. I am not aware of an "mATX" psu.

You may need a bracket to fit it. For example, the Silverstone SFX units typically come with "Included SFX to ATX bracket for use in ATX case.", from their website.

I think SFX/ matx are the same thing, although there are different flavours.

I am not sure that I understand what you are trying to do. I had thought that you wanted to use the psu in an older system, moving it to a new case.

You can measure the spacing of the mounting screws on the back of the psu, see the bottom of this diagram. If they match the diagram you have an ATX conformant (mounting) psu. But without opening the case you can not establish if the psu has the needed connectors for a modern motherboard and gpu.
