What do you want to emulate, exactly? The PS1/SNES should be really easy to emulate, for example.

i would like to emulate ps3, ds or gameboy advanced

 

Currently, you cannot emulate PS3, however they are making great progress with it. :)

is it possible to emulate the xbox 360?

 

Xbox 360/PS3 are Power PC based and more powerful than the Wii (also Power PC). Wii is doable on a OC I5 k with Dolphin (to run damn near perfect with music). Xbox 360/PS3 are going to require more power then we have currently. Wii U will be even harder, it is also Power PC and more powerful than 360/PS3.

 

We will most likely have PS4/Xbox One emulators before those 3 consoles. Once they are jailbroken, emulators should soon follow. GCN AMD 7000 series SEMI-custom (not custom)GPU and x86. They are like a 8320 running at less than half speed with a 7790/7770 in them. Add to that only 6 cores are available to developers on the SDK.The only difference is unified ram, but we can do that through software. Direct X 11.2 has memory tiling and Mantle does as well.
