These things have to start charging with Full size USB micro is just to fragile for them

Mine got bent at a 45 degree angle after about half a year of just putting it in normally. The metal bends quite easily.

 

And no, before you make another smart-ass response, I was putting it in gently. I had the usb taped onto my desk so i didn't drop it and I plugged my phone in at night and unplugged it in the morning. Hell, I always plug it in the right way aswell, because it's taped the right way up.

 

Micro USB's are crap and fragile. They break constantly, but nobody complains because they're like 60p. I personally hate having to buy a new micro usb connector every 6 months, but hey alot of people apparently don't so it looks like i'm in the majority.
