can someone tell me if this are full range speakers?

Well, that's kind of another matter. Do you hear a difference between the setting on and off? You might want to turn it on so that the software sends the full stereo signal to the speaker system.

I don't notice any difference.

This is the same option that is at configuring speakers in windows.

The subwoofer is not connected to the pc..
