Should i install W 8.1?

So i basically have the USB stick next to me to install, it's temprting but idk if it's worth it, i tried 8 for a month or so and didn't really liked it, switched back to 7 and i'm not willing to upgrade again but of course i need yout help :D.

8.1 is cool. better than 8 and faster than 8 and 7

Mh idk.. not convinced yet , does anybody know a good methot to dual boot but kinda keep your settings and programs, kind of using the ''Upgrade'' option when installing?

I like win 8. Once I installed start8 I get the usability of win 7 and the improved snappiness of win 8. It's win win.

I also set the default programs to desktop apps, but yeah I haven't had any issues at all. Its snappier. I don't ever get the weird waiting to populate a folder for 2 min that would sometimes happen on win 7 and the desktop is usable immediately once Windows loads, I don't have to do that wait an indeterminate amount of time for everything to load.

Yep I have the same, my system acts like windows 7 but is windows 8.1

You can download classic shell and disable all the metro garbage, then with classic shell its pretty much like a faster windows 7 (probably has some minor changes but you get the idea). Its what I've been using since I built this PC and its been great.
