Driver update software

Does this exist, /for free/? My system has been wonky for no apparent reason lately and I assume it's probably a stray conflict somewhere. I don't want to hunt down every tiny bit of driver package, that's tedious. In Linux Mint you can update all your drivers in one shot. The software just scans the system and updates..something Windows has zero excuse omitting considering the price of the OS itself. I've found such software, but it seems so scammy that it's pay to use software just for software that scans your system and updates drivers all at once. Certainly there is to be free software out there that'd make life easier.

 

OS is Win7.

Most of this software is utter rubbish that'll 'update' your drivers to versions that aren't designed for the hardware you actually have installed.

The only one i know of is avast's software updater, think it comes with avast free. But i am not a 100% sure.

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.
