So I have just recently built my pc everything has been running smoothly until yesterday. Currently I have a ASUS Radeon HD 6570 2GB card (I never bought the card my dad had bought it to replace the one in our family computer but it did not fit SMLIMLINE FOR THE WIN) and I encountered a problem last night I was playing LoL and my frames where stuttery and I thought it was just the game as there seem to be quite a few bugs in it. Then I played some Sonic and my game crashed so I checked my temperature it was at 61 Degrees I had never seen it at this before the maximum always went up to was 55 (overclocked)

So I turn down the settings back to the default I let it cool and the same thing happens when playing my games 61 Degrees even at default. So what is the problem here? or is time for me to get a better card for my self?

EDIT: Between writing this post and posting it my temperature has gone up to 40 from 33 and my computer only has Chrome open

your overclock could be causing throttling issues and let your gpu run at much lower frequencies without you even noticing

Its more the fact that it's slowly increasing when I only have chrome open

Its weird but i dont think that temp could cause stuttering

But it's cool inside?...

It's surprising how we feel temperature , remember when the first days of spring after a cold winter you want to go in tshirt outside even if its 15C , but after a hot summer 20C is cold as hell ? It might be that.
