Webcam for making videos

I am going to start making videos and I want to have good video quality. Would I be fine with a high quality webcam (1080p at 30fps) because I am not really looking to invest in a digital camcorder yet.

 

I don't know much about cameras so if anyone can tell me what kind of video quality I can expect from a high quality webcam. I'm not worried about sound quality, I have an external mic

I have exactly that one! For the price it's a really good cam!
