mostly personal.

 

green team:

-high costs

+better drivers

+lower powerdraw(appearently)

 

redteam:

+low costs

-hotter

-more power used

-bad drivers(seems to be fading away thou)

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

If your case is not a small form factor and has a couple decent fans one of these cards won't hurt anything

You'll be fine. They won't heat up your system too much, unless you're running an R9 290X.  I have an HD 7770GHz Edition OC'd in a case with almost no cooling, and it stays within operating temps.
