RAM is not RAM sorry I have seen bad RAM soo.... yeah.  Also, Kingston is normally my daily driver and looking at different options with a bit of bling.

RAM is RAM. You can get unlucky. And there can be bad batches.

Most of the bad companies are gone, we have lost like 10 RAM makers in the last 5 years.

RAM is RAM at this point. It will probably work just fine. Go for price and aesthetics now, as long as the spec is fine.

RAM is the least volatile computer part as of now. It's not like Corsair and other well-known RAM are superior or without failure and under-the-radar RAM are utter shit-sticks. RAM failure is really uncommon compared to HDD, SSD, and case failure - you'd have to buy a really crappy case or kick the stupid thing to have it fail. Heck, CPUs are more volatile than RAM since the pins are so sensitive. Same with mobos which will die if they short out. As for GPUs, well, DOA and RMA are fairly common with them.

Really as long as hit has a low CAS it should be decent I was looking at an 8gb set of DDR3 1600 cas9 from them I would've whent with them but decided to buy a video card instead figuring it would give me more of a performance boost then I "borrowed" 4gb from my grandmas computer and gave her 2gb lol

Ok thanks then I will check it out!

Most of the crappy RAM manufacturers are gone, and DDR3 has been around long enough for people to fully get it. From sales/return numbers I have seen G.Skill has the lowest return rates, but I haven't seen the numbers in a long time, and everybody was close anyways.

"Least volatile" "RAM" same sentence? :P Just saying lol.

For anybody who doesn't know RAM is volatile, meaning it doesn't permanently store data. Non-volatile RAM is ROM, and a few others.

Fine. Least unpredictable and most stable computer part.

Wow RAM thief over here

The most she does is online Poker why does she need 4gb of GAMING RAM? besides when I buy a matching stick for the 4gb stick I will give her my other 2gb so she can have 4gb again not like she'll notice a difference anyways

You're still stealing from a helpless old lady. You could have at least asked her or something.

Damn. Why did she have the in the beginning?

Company that built her computer ripped her off :/ charged her $600 for it it's specs (before I took the RAM)

CPU A4 5300 (only $50 now was probably only like $60 when her PC was built)

Mobo: ASUS F2A85-M (108.99 on Amazon right now)

Ram: listed above I'm sure it was a lot more expensive back when the PC was built (about 2 years ago)

then they threw it in a $20 case with a $10 powersupply :/ and my grandma thinks she got a good deal  it's got a 250gb western digital blue drive and a no name DVD drive

I suspected that from the beginning. I thought it was something like a HP, Compaq, etc. PC with 2TB, 4GB, crappy Celeron or Pentium, and other BS along with "labor costs". Labor costs to me only applies to automotives, construction, and actual physical work. Lifting a PC case should not be that difficult and a stick of ram does not even remotely compare to a goddamn exhaust pipe.
