Hello,

Recently I have been running into a problem. My desktop just randomly crashes while playing a specific game - League of Legends (don't hate, k?). I can't figure out if it's software or hardware related issue...

This is the screen I get when the system crashes. It goes in complete lockdown and there is this BZZZZZZZZZZ noise coming from speakers.http://imgur.com/tnMrdGV (If this means anthing the HDD led also freezes on the case)

So a bit more about the hardware and drivers I'm running:

  • Gigabyte HD Radeon 1gb 7850 running on CCC 14.4
  • Asus ROG Maximus VI gene
  • i5-4670K @ 3.4 Ghz
  • HyperX Fury 8gb @ 1600 Mhz
  • Kingston 128Gb boot SSD
  • Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 250gb (this is where my game is located, HDD is pretty old 4-5 years)

What could be source for these crashes? Any tests I could run?

This happens when your video card crashes. Try changing to the latest drivers if you havent already, or revert to older ones where this did not happen. Also make sure to monitor your GPU temps.
