Is there any build out there with an air cooled CPU ( NH-D14/Dark Rock Pro 3 ) and a custom loop on the GPU(s) only?

Was thinking about such thing but couldn't find any.

probably because everyone who does a custom loop spend 150extra on a cpu.block ??

It would be very inconvenient since the cpu cooler would block the access of the tubes to the gpu block unless you use both lower holes in the block and no top radiator

I have seen AIO coolers on CPU while GPU is custom.
and I think I have seen CPU on air while GPU's on custom water, but it wasn't this forum. It was either OCN or overclockers. but it rarer to see.

Aesthetics??? or maybe a temporary situation???

IDK, I'm sure some people look at my system and wonder what i am thinking. I don't really care what people do with their rigs, as long as they are happy. that's all that matters.

Been hunting for those pics with air coolers and WC GPU's, but no luck. I gave up.

I don't care either, just curiosity tho if you can afford a custom for two gpu I don't think you're going broke with a cpu included and looks weird IMO!
