Unlock 660Ti's

Hey guys and girls,

 

I apologize in advance if this is something that has already been covered in the forum but i really need to know how to do this.

 

So i have 2 ASUS DCII 660Ti's running very very cool, thanks to my new Corsair 540 (Thanks, Linus! ) and i really want to push nine shades of hell out of these cards, I have been looking online on how to unlock the cards so i can push more voltage into the cores and sustain higher core clocks ect, at the moment i can't seem to get over a extra 5/10Mhz without it crapping itself and killing over on benchmarks and burn in test. Does anyone have a effective way of unlocking these bad boys? I have tried ways via the YouTubes and Jayz2Cents videos but it doesn't seem to actually unlock the cards at all, i get the same voltage and the same power limit. Anyone else had this problem?

I think you have to flash the BIOS or it's impossible, I'm not sure.

There is the KGB BIOS editor: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?284014-KGB-Kepler-BIOS-Editor-Unlocker

You just substract your BIOS with GPU-Z and then edit it with the values that you want.

Doing this will put you at risk of bricking your cards or frying the power delivery, so do it at your own risk.

Try starting out with the default settings and then work your way up from there, It will raise your power target and in some cases the max voltage aswell.

I forgot to mention, that you of course have to reflash the edited BIOS to the graphics card. I suggest using NVFlash for this

If i remember asus cards have a max lock on the voltage.

But you could start overclocking by using something like afterburner.

You need to flash your graphics card bios. But bear in mind that by doing that,your warranty is void.

If you are ok with that,you may proceed.
