that is a really nice rig. although (this is quite personal) the K70 is a bit overpriced. but worth it.
this is really good overall

you should also go for a Z97 chipset if you are going with a 4770k processor. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97g45gaming

this ssd cost about 4-5$ less https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/sandisk-internal-hard-drive-sdssdp128gg25
here is also a less pricy semi modular psu http://pcpartpicker.com/part/enermax-power-supply-etl550awtm

you should be all set :D

Is there a way to lower the price without changing the CPU, GPU, and CPU Cooler

  • Save $50~ and get a Hyper 212 Evo instead of the Noctua :3
  • Save $15~ and get 1666mhz ram instead of 2133mhz
  • Save $15-20 and get a cheaper ssd, as you likely won't notice a huge difference between a low end ssd and a high end one. M500, V300, Adata SP600
  • I'm sure you could also get a cheaper case....although, cases suck to look through as there are just so many of them.
  • I'd also go with a K65/Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid instead of the K70, as I prefer TKL keyboards, and because a backlight really isn't worth that much considering how much light the monitor outputs.
