I need help with my new Build!

Hello there!

Since I browse the linustechtips forum all the time, I thought this would be a great place to plan out my new rig, since the people know what they are talking about.

I'm from Germany and my Budet is around $2200 - $2400 (1500€ - 1800€).

This is my first own Build, so I don't really know what parts work best together.

The purpose of this PC:

First of all I want to edit alot of Pictures and Videos (also 4k), so it should handle that.

Also it would be awesome if I could play current and future games easily on "high / ultra" with a decent FPS Number (780 TI maybe?).

Things that I already have:

(2x) Monitor (1920 x 1200)

Windows 8.1

Peripherals

120GB Samsung SSD 840 Pro Series

(2x) 4TB WD Green

(I also have more external storage)

Thanks in advance for every help possible!

You are going to need more than one 780ti to run at high to ultra settings at 4k at 60fps.

Never mind, not using a 4k monitor.

I should be studying.

I need to handle 4k footage, my two monitors are running at 1920 x 1200.

I'm sorry for the confusion!

He has two 1200p monitors, not 4k

OP, are you planning to use a 4k screen? or are you only doing editing of 4k videos/images?

Thanks for the clarification ^^ :D

r9 295x's might be good for you,in your case

plus an i7 4790 with a sweet a$$ cooler & ordinary 16 gig ram & a good enough mobo, that should fill in the budget.. i think only thing you need to care about is cpu & gpu rest can be just good enough to handle the load, you don't need nothing too expensive on that side..

Details separate people.
