Need help with pc build

Hey! I just started my pc build, Intel Core i7-4770K, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770, Corsair Air 540 - My Custom Build help- SpaceBoaty's Saved Part List - PCPartPicker

But the problem is that when i connect my 8 pin EATX12v connector into the motherboard the pc wont boot, no noise,motherboard light is on, when usb headset is connected it glows, just doesnt want to boot. Fans dont spin either. The 24 pin EATX12v is connected all the time, the hard drive,ram,cpu,watercooler. When i disconnect the 8 pin and just leave the 24 pin, when i boot it up the h105 lights up and only the cpu fan starts but the rest of the fans dont. Nothing shows on screen. Not sure if im connecting the plug correctly or if i need to plug in something else. Any help? Thanks

try a 8pin alone instead of what i think you're using is an 8+2Pin where you plug the 8pin and leave the 2Pin, should work even so, but just try it or any other 8pin availabale

the 6+2 pin doesn't fit on either the power supply or the CPU slot. The 6 fits but not the extra 2
