PS4 :(

Go to solution Solved by Sors,

My PS4 failed the first day I had it, when trying to install the update to the firmware I got the blue light, I unplugged the console from the wall outlet for a few seconds, then turn it on again holding the power button to enter safe mode, then tried to install the update again in safe mode, it worked and I have been using it since then without problems.

Bought my little brother a PS4 and we got it yesterday and it started to pulsate blue get really hot and display no signal.

We got it covered by sony but they said about a week to get a box and another week to get it to them and another week to fix it and send it back.

Any suggestions for a fix for him?

..... pc master race :)

but seriously he needs help!

Take it to the retailer if you bought from a store, otherwise you just gotta wait man.

Don't try and fix yourself chances are you'll fail and the warranty will be voided because you opened it and broke the seal.

Take it back to the store.

Got off of cowboom for $125 from retail

Don't you know that unlike pcs consoles work immediately out of the box, don't need any tinkering and are designed to game perfectly as soon as you plug them in? So you see, it can't have a problem.

Oh wait.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Oh wait.

Yah 3-5 years into the consoles life span when they remade and updated the design and thermals.

I never said they weren't bad just that they don't run it over with the truck then chuck it from the street on to your porch like UPS.

thats what FedEx does...

(lets not get into a Mail war here)
