Displayport Question

Go to solution Solved by Zeke,

Yes, that is a DisplayPort, note how the little logo forms letters D and P.

Although it's probably not the newest revision, 1.0 or 1.1 1.1 or 1.2 maybe.

What board is that?

Could I hook it up to my new g-sync monitor for the time being (it was my dad's old office pc and he got a virus so the hard drive had to be removed)? Will intel gma run the monitor @120hz/144hz? I will obviously not be gaming, but I need to install an OS on a new hard drive and need to know if it will work with the only monitor that I can use at this time. Btw, it is a VG248QE G-Sync installed by Digital Storm. Thanks

I'm positive that it will work, but I'm not sure if it will work @ 120hz (never tried that with integrated graphics)

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

Yeah. The normal monitor comes with all of the inputs, but with the g-sync module, only the display port connection can be used. I was just worried about using a 6 year old platform. Thank you all for your replies!
