I have a GTX 660 and a GTX 650ti Boost, is there any way I could put them in the same system and make it somewhat faster? Not SLI, but like having a separate Physx processor? I don't know what to do with it.

You could use the 650Ti as a physx card

I know, but could it have any other uses?

You can put them in the same system, but you can't use them simultaneously for the same task.

If you have a dual-monitor setup, you could theoretically use one to drive videos/etc on your secondary monitor, so that your primary GPU can fully work on running a game on your primary monitor without having to waste some of its power on the video.. I haven't done this nor have I done any research about it, so it's just a guess on my part.

I know you said no sli but if they are both sli capable you could do that

Unfortunately you can't SLI different GPUs.

And the point is??

He has a 650TI and a 660, so: No, they can't be SLI'd (unless you use some hacked drivers or something similar).

You can SLI/CF different brands of the same GPU

You can Crossfire (not SLI) different AMD GPUs, but only if they have the same class of chip, like 280+280X, 290+290X, 7950+7970, 7850+7870, but never if they have different chips, like 280X+290X, 270+280..

Not exactly correct. I have seen 670 and  760 in SLI and they are not the same.

Someone posted this though

The 760 is based on a modified version of the 670. If I remember correctly, SLI compatibility between those cards wasn't intentional, and Nvidia patched their drivers to remove compatibility between those two cards.

Also: some people have hacked the driver software to trick the system into running the cards in SLI even though they're officially not compatible.

Going back to the OP's situation: 650TI and 660 are not officially compatible. End of story.

You could use a separate card for a separate monitor?

I'm pretty sure you can.. I have never done it though, as I've never had any rigs with mismatched GPUs..

Also, the performance loss when you have a video playing on a second screen is minimal, so there isn't really a huge reason to do something like that.
