Looks great. If you're thinking of doing SLI in the future I'd get a 850W PSU just to have some headroom. Also Corsair fans can get pretty loud. I won't recommend Noctua's because they won't match the black and red build you want. You could get Noiseblocker Black Silent Pro fans. Your build would have more black than red then which will make the red stand out a bit more.

Eh, I will probably SLi in a really far future and get a 850 Watts PSU but for the time being it's all good.

I also don't care much about noise, in all honesty xD  :P

I'm also looking for a black / white design with the same core parts (cpu, cpu cooler, gpu, psu, case(corsair air 540 mid tower white) with the same price including the monitor too! If you know any, feel free to link me one! :)

I wonder why ppl keep chosing the Maximus Hero lately... if you want a Black/Red you can go MSI with the Z97 Gaming 3/5/7 or G45/GD65 Gaming, they perform about the same but much cheaper.

Dont get a i7 4770k. if you are just going to game and do some light editing stuff on this computer, go with the i5 4690k instead, If you are doing heavy rendering/photoshop/3D modeling then go with the i7 4790k.

The 780Ti is sort of overprice with not much performance gain over the 780 so I'd choose the 780 instead, but if you have money to spare then 780Ti is good.

PSU dont need to be a 750W, you only need around 500W for a single GPU build, so with some headroom a 600-650W PSU should be better. I'd choose one from Corsair. If you plan to go SLI in the future, a 750W-800W PSU is ok.

You sort of have way more case fans than you will ever needed.

Black and White... currently with the new Haswell Refresh stuff White things like Mobo, GPU etc is kinda hard to find... ASUS and some other showcase some at Computex but they wotn be out soon.

Hahaha, the fans...

x2 120mm are for the H100i and x3 120mm are for the fans on the front of the case!

x1 140mm is for the back of the case!

a black GPU for Black / White is fine! It's finding a good motherboard with only black, silver and white on it that is hard! The sabranco is far away and getting the case painted with that same design is difficult!

I know where you are going to put them since I've seen the picture, it just... kinda not needed. The case is quite small for SLI + for SLI the card is very close to each other so that guy put loads of fans in to dispatch the heat near the GPU, but for you there wont be any problem even if you use the case stock fan.

They're for the red rings, nothing else... Also I'd rather have 3 front fans than two... We all have our preferences

I'm pretty sure he's used the same fans as I am going to for the visual aspect... not just his two GPUs.

Well, I dont say it's not good, I just kinda skeptical on this because those fan is not cheap. I'd stay blind to it if it was like 5USD per fans like some other build I saw lately. Something like these:

I did a quick search on PCpartpicker, only found red/black builds. I have some idea on how you could achieve a black and white build tho. You could use the white rings on the Corsair fans. Get a reference 780 ti and file off the green tint on the glowing logo (there's YT vids explaining how to do this properly), use white cable sleeves and get the grey Vengeance Pro's. This is what I'm getting at http://pcpartpicker.com/b/svTWGX .

Asus also has a good motherboard that could go with it: Asus Z97-AR (don't think it's available for purchase yet).

The RPM rate and noise. The more expensive one spin abit faster but also a bit louder than the less expensive one.

Wrong. The AF series works best when there are no obstacles restricting the airflow like fan filters, radiators, harddrive cages and cases with few holes for air to be sucked in from. The other fan is the SP series. They are pressure optimized and therefor push more air through airflow restricting obstacles like radiators etc.

This being the AF series: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-fan-co9050001ww

This being the SP series: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-fan-co9050012ww

I see. I use the AF for my H100i radiator though... but again it's push/pull so I dont think there's any problem with it, and the temp is good so... :3

It's indeed a nice build... Most black and white builds that I've seen use AMD CPU and AMD Motherboard probably because of the white AMD Mobo's that there is (They're really good looking) but sadly I trust Intel more for certain things than AMD... I have a black & white build but i don't know man... So hard to pick..

Black & White is more relaxing and at some point better cool looking meanwhile

Black & Red is much more aggressive but also looks pretty badass

Only reason that I'm not working on a Black and White design more is because there's no motherboard for Intel that has only black, gray and white.   There's going to be the Sabranco but even then, you'd have to get the case painted with the same design otherwise it just feels awkward.

Yeah, push/pull AF fans is another way to go about it. But more fans equals more noise and more space that the whole fan-rad config takes up in your case. 2 SP's in push or pull will give you the same performance at lower noise levels and more bang for your buck. Unless you want push/pull for aesthetics, which I think is rare. :P

I use only 2 AF on push, and the 2 stock fans that come with the H100i for pull, it do take some more space but it make my radiator look red (sort of) since I'm going with a Red/Black build too, you can check my full build log on my sig :3

True. Red/black and white/black builds are the dominant choices these days. Black and white builds look better IMO with more black than white. I wish there were more options in general in terms of component colors instead of having to go to custom cable sleeving etc. At the moment Intel CPU's are just better. The best consumer AMD CPU's are friggin toasters in terms of heat output.

Nice build ;). Good way to make use of the stock fans, I'm a bit of a quiet freak and I live in a very quiet neighborhood so annoying fan noise quickly gets on my nerves. It's all Noctua's for me :P.

I really like black and white but I just can't find a good looking and matching colors motherboard to go along with all the other components...
