Anyway, how does this look? going after low power consumption but powerful under 600 smackers.

why not a 8320 combination and a 770 or 280? or are you set on intel?

As much as like AMD, those words above do not really work with Vishera.

As much as like AMD, those words above do not really work with Vishera.

well it will all run on a 550w and that's as low power consumption as it gets these days

No that is higher power consumption than the current build i posted o.0

 

This is not for all out maxed 1080p gaming either LOL, it is a PC for my sister to play casual games on...

Get one of the new pentium chips and the Z97 anniversary board from Asrock :P

Takes a Pentium at 4.5ghz to match an i3, and even then the i3 is still faster in some things.

I suggest getting a 1866MHz kit of memory, or 1600MHz, and get a 500 or a 550W power supply.. Other than that, it's a very nice rig!

well if you want a borderline psu build go for it but id still rather take alternatives
