Plugged it in, started the computer. It was working, I was able to move my cursor. Before I even type my windows password, I accidentally pressed the sniper button on the g502, then it stopped working. It says that "USB device not recognized." The mouse isn't even responsive anymore. The only thing it does now is the 2nd light on the side blinks whenever I press the sniper button. Did I brick my new g502 by just pressing the sniper button within 20 seconds of plugging it in?

Did you download the drivers off of Logitech's site? It should brick after pressing the sniper button.

You mean the drivers as in the Logitech software? I don't see any drivers on their website, except for that Logitech software, which did nothing.

That's very odd, try uninstalling the logitech software rebooting your pc and re-installing the software before you plug in your mouse.

Trying this, but why would Logitech make it so that your mouse bricks automatically after you press the sniper button?

They wouldn't, if that doesn't work then you got a bad mouse, take it back to where you got it and they should give you a new one since it's under warranty.
