Need to clean up SSD

Hey people i need to clean up my ssd however Disk cleanup doesnt touch it 25.7gb imo is too large for windows am i right? Also what looks too large and needs some cleaning?

7 SP1 home premium

My SSD is a samsung EVO and I have 111gb usable. Windows uses about 20gb for me as well. What exactly are you trying to clean up?

It looks all right from my limited knowledge. Some 20 GB for the OS seems quite normal. I don't see what you want to clean? If Windows uses 25.7 GB it's obviously a bad idea to start deleting stuff to make Windows take up less space. You could uninstall BF4 if you wanted.

Quoting isnt working for me atm so ill just post normally, id just like to have some more space, could get a larger drive but im not that fussed just 25gb seemed pretty big i have put all my other games and most programs on a 7200rpm hdd considering i have 400+gb of games

Remove the hibernate allocation space and you will get a free 8gb back.

You can get your win7 install down to about 7GB. that'll leave a little over 100GB for data after the os. Google and follow Sean's windows 7 SSD guide

Are you sure? Is it deleted or just off? If you just disabled it, the space on your drive will still be allocated.

 

When i had a pagefile WinDirStat would show the 8gb i just put one on my HDD and WinDirStat is showing it. I have no pagefile on my ssd
