Hey guys, I'm in desperate need of a new headset. My old sound blasters that  I bought as a temporary headset are about to fall apart. I think I need virtual surround sound because I do play a lot of Battlefield 4 and games like that, but I am open to other options. I don't want to spend over $300 on a new setup. So my options are:

- Astro A40's (Yes, I like the neon yellow color.)

   http://www.astrogaming.com/a40-audio-system/A40-AUDIO-SYSTEM-NEON-COLOR-SERIES.html?dwvar_A40-AUDIO-SYSTEM-NEON-COLOR-SERIES_color=orange

- Kingston HyperX Cloud (I have heard this one is good but I haven't done much research)

-Sennheiser PC363D (Adding this one in thanks to Friendly Bush Wookie)

-Or I could get Audio techica M50's with a Mod Mic (Some people say that I don't need virtual surround, but I don't really believe it...)

M50 : http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B000ULAP4U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1402465823&sr=8-1&keywords=audio+technica

Mod Mic : http://www.modmic.com/

Any other suggestions would be great. The only type of headset that I do not want to deal with is wireless. I had turtle beach PX5's that had a transmitter with a frequency of 2.1Ghz (Same as my wifi) and screwed up all of my Wifi. I would like to know what genius came up with that transmitter.

Main PC:  CPU - i7-4770k @ 4.2Ghz   Motherboard - MSI MPOWER MAX   GPU - EVGA GTX 780 SC   RAM - 16GB 2400Mhz ADATA   PSU - Corsair RM 850   Storage - Intel 240GB SSD - OS : Samsung 1TB HDD - Games : WD 1TB  HDD - Other : Seagate 3TB HDD - Backup

If you have the money for a decent soundcard too (ASUS Xonar DGX) get the Sennheiser PC350 (Or anything in the PC lineup (PC350, PC360, PC 363D, G4ME Zero/One)

Best headset for gaming/music/movies i've ever had. It's not as good as ATH-M50's for music but the overall sound is better with the Sennheisers.

You should try the in game surround that's already built into games with open headphones. None of the things you listed are open so if surround really is important to you, you should look into open headphones. Some options are Beyerdynamic DT990, Sennheiser HD558, AKG K612, Phillips Fidelio X1, and Audio Technica AD500x/AD700x.
