I'm currently doing a Black and Red build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YRz6qs I'm far from being finished...

I'm planning to play games such as Planetside 2, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty series, Crysis Series, ArcheAge, WildStar, FarCry Series, Ghost Recon Phantoms and a few other games...

I saw the ROG Matrix GTX 780 Ti on some YouTube videos and stuff like that and the looks of that GPU gave me a boner for the simple reason that it fits the style that I'm going for at 100%.

Do you guys happen to know if it's a good GPU for the build that I'm going for or would I rather stick to the current GTX 780 Ti that is on my build?

If not, is there any other GPU that has that look? It has to be from a trustworthy manufacturer, though... Good quality and cooling too.

http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/ROG_MATRIXGTX780TIP3GD5/

Where can I buy it? Is it even out yet? If not, no wonder I can't find it.

Performance is the same so you should get whatever looks best to you as they're both great cards just be warned that Asus doesn't have the best rep when it comes to RMA also sort of off topic but get a USB ODD as the Sata one will ruin the sexiness of that case.

Hahah, I know it is... Sadly. That Asus Matrix looks fucking badass.

Meh, there's barely any red on it and the way that it's aligned in the case and on the motherboard there's not enough red to be enjoyable :P

Sorry but I'm not really an expert concerning that language...

A USB disc drive instead of one that goes inside 5.25 inch bay of the case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151262&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=usb_dvd_drive-_-27-151-262-_-Product

Yea it is a sweet GPU go ahead and I'm not sure on availability but there DCII is http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-gtx780tidc2oc3gd5 also red and black and you could go with the gpu dragon told you about

Meh, I might just stick to the one that I chose in the current build... Most of the GPU with red stuff on it faces downwards so you don't really see much.

Do you know if that Asus Matrix one is avalaible? I've seen reviews on YouTube and stuff but I guess that it's companies or whatever that let them borrow those GPU's cuz I can't find a single online store with it

EVGA GPUs are better in OC over the Asus models

the stock clocks may be lower but the gains from OC is much higher for the EVGA.

ok and also you might want to wait for the Intel i7 4790k same price better performance releases 6/20/2014 I recommend that you get it also no motherboard upgrade needed since that ASUS Maximus is z97  :)

I'll check that out eventually and look at the measurements and stuff... Thanks for the suggestion, lol

Any idea if that Asus Matrix is on the market right now, though? I don't think it is... I've only seen reviews but not a single store has it online.

Yeah, I probably will...  I'm not too much of an extreme overclocker but hey, newer usually means a small performance upgrade with and without overclocks so... I can't say no.

For the motherboard I'm fine that's for sure...

I don't even know the price in the first place... It's also the only card that REALLY fits what I'm looking for in my rig.

i think it estimated to be 1097.03 Canadian Dollar based on the price that I see at my local stores

The Direct CU II looks nearly the same.

Or break out the painters tape and a red spray can, paying a premium for a look is up to you I guess.

Eh, I'll just stick to an ugly black GPU... Most GPU put the red on the part where it faces downwards so you lose all the beauty of red on it.

I would do get it painted but there's just no point... I wish the Asus ROG wouldn't cost so much or I would totally buy it just for the looks.

You could always get a backplate for your current gpu and customise it.
