Intel - Extension - 2.1.10103.24

The above update appeared today, but after downloading and restarting, Windows Update again finds it and asks to restart in a loop. There are several posts on the Internet about this problem, however apart from hiding the update, no real solution. Any suggestions?

Use the Windows Update Show-Hide Tool (which runs as a toubleshooter) to hide this update so that it is not reinstalled. Available at:

The link takes you to both the download link and the instructions to use the tool. Works in both Win 10 and 11.

Thanks, but as I wrote, I think hiding is not solving the problem.

What the tool does is it hides it from Windows Update so then when it runs again it won't download the application so it won't try to install it.
