mid 4's would be an average. with really good cooling you can get it to maaaaybe 4.8 which ive seen in some cases. im 4.5 GHZ with 1.26 V.

4.3-4.4 is the average range for haswell overclocking

Case: Phanteks Evolve X with ITX mount  cpu: Ryzen 3900X 4.35ghz all cores Motherboard: MSI X570 Unify gpu: EVGA 1070 SC  psu: Phanteks revolt x 1200W Memory: 64GB Kingston Hyper X oc'd to 3600mhz ssd: Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB ITX System CPU: 4670k  Motherboard: some cheap asus h87 Ram: 16gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz

If you were lucky enough to get a very good chip then i believe you could get to 4.6 - 4.8.

 

I I was not that lucky - i got to 4.2Ghz with 1.22V.

Before you overclock, make sure that you have an aftermarket cooler.

 

Also, overclocking with Haswell is completely luck of the draw.  Don't come into your overclock with any expectations.  Just run through a guide and do it step by step to achieve the best overclock that your chip is capable of.  Don't compare results to others with the same chip until you have thoroughly tested yours.

4.4 GHz is the average, you could watch Linus' video if you want some more info on haswell overclocking.
