Should I paint my case?

Hey guys, I need some help over here, I bought a case a CM Storm Stryker, wich is entirely white, but I want the interior to be black, should I paint it, is it recommendable? I ask because of the heat coming out of all the components that cant melt the paint or something like that, If I do it, should I use regular spray paint and sand paper or should I use something else? Thanks for the help.

I guess it depends on what kind of finish you want, but if you are fine with a matte black look, plasti dip might be a good option.

Go for it, you won't melt the paint. Just sand it before spraying and do several light coats.

So plasti dip does not affect your components, and the heat? Is it ok? Becase I do want a matte black finish.

Plasti dip is non conductive which makes it great for applications like this and I did a quick Google search and plasti dip is good up to 93.33 degrees Celsius

Just be sure if you decide to paint the interior matte black to protect the exterior from over spray if your using paint including taping over any grated/meshed fan holes, plasti-dip is much more forgiving for over spray since if there is any all you need is a microfiber clothe and a good buffing if there is any.
