You're not the only one that has problem(s) with a certain headset. But, that's also the fact of the matter.. Name one headset on planet Earth, and I'll name you somebody that finds them uncomfortable.

Everyone has a different frame, it's just the nature of the beast with any types of headphones.

I did not personally have any issues with the M50x's, until they broke, that is. :P

That is very common with the m50s they have always had comfort issues. Getting new pads might help the comfort but it'll also change the sound. If you can still return them then that might be a good idea and buy different headphones.

How long have you had them for? I know that when I got my m50s, they were pretty uncomfortable for the first couple of weeks and then they really moulded and fit to my head and became really comfortable later.

Sennheiser Orpheus

Two things:

1) At $16,000 MSRP at launch, still well over $7,000 as we speak - How many people would you say have worn these? Maybe like, 18 ½ people in the world?

2) Logan from TekSyndicate (If I recall, it was him) stated when he put them on, the sound was epic but the headphones were almost 'resting' on the top of his earlobe. It was more prominently only on one side, though.. Which is weird. He felt the pressure to keep moving them up, they fell down, re-position, repeat. Now I am not 100% if this really was Logan that made this video, but if not, then it was another popular YouTuber.

Now that the 2 best examples in the world have been brought up.. Instead of me saying Next, lets just leave it at:

You get my point! :P

Is just wearing them for some more time the only way to fix this issue?

Get some object that is about the width of your head and leave your headphones on them for a couple days.  That will make the clamping pressure loosen up.  I used a chair but a thin box might do the trick. Hell if you have textbooks use a couple of those.

In what way are they uncomfortable? Is there too much clamp force, or is the padding inadequate in somehow?
