Hey all. I have recently completed my first pc build and I am running into problems with blue screens. They only happen under about 10 minutes of load. Here are my specs.

Specs:

Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus

Noctua NH-D12L

Asrock Z890M Riptide Wifi Phantom Gaming

Crucial DDR5 Pro 5600 (XMP on)

MSI Mag A750GLS

Newegg Refurbished Radeon Rx 6950XT

I have lowered XMP speeds and ran the windows memory tests with no errors. I have a hunch it’s the gpu, especially with the blue screen and how it looks. I will put screenshots of the blue screen and the two reliability report results below.

Your black screen doesn't look like a blue screen to me.

How are the temps under load (cpu, gpu, hotspot, vram if available, with HWiNFO64)

Could you disable XMP for now and reset the bios for now.

I will try this later today when I get home. Temps are well under control. GPU is at 60-65 degrees at 330 watts and Cpu is low 90s at 250 watts.

Windows 11 replaced the bluescreen with frowny face with this new black screen. It is still a "bluescreen" error just looks different on new versions of Windows 11.

Given the horrifying artifacting on that BSOD, I'd guess something wrong with the GPU. Like, physically wrong.
If it's still in warranty, I'd open an RMA. If not, you might be able to fix it with reflashing the VBIOS or undervolting.
Also, Win+Shift+S will open snipping tool which allows you to grab chunks of the screen and it drops the image onto your clipboard so you can paste it

Yeah I know about snipping, I was just tired of it crashing and not being able to get the screenshots off of it!

No, this is a fairly old bug in Windows that can happen because the resolution of the monitor is higher than 1080p. It has no relation to the crash reason.

@mrrmgee Go to C:\Windows\Minidump (Sometimes Minidumps for some reason) and check if you have any minidump files. If you do, go back to the Windows folder and copy the Minidump folder itself to the Downloads folder (You can use the desktop if you don't have OneDrive syncing files). Zip the copied folder and attach it to a post.
