770 sli or 780

Currently have a 770. Wishing to upgrade, but not sure on which path. A 780 would be an upgrade, but i could get another 770 for less, but then i would get the problems that can follow when doing sli. Worth doing 770 sli or get a 780? or just spend extra to get 780ti?

Rather than trying to sell the 770, just get a second one. Better performance, and there's almost no problems with SLI at this point, besides not getting 100% increase per card added.

 

Just about every AAA game will work with SLI, those that don't will be patched, and any Indie game that doesn't have SLI support, probably didn't need it.
