i have 2 pcs curntly one with a older p620 from February 1st, 2018 thats getting updated like bi weakly and with a moblie 4060 geting updated nearly as offen why is nivda updating so mcuh where as my amd cards dont update offen at all a hx 370 and a 5700xt

Bug fixes, game profile updates, new features. You can just read the patch notes with each release if you're curious.

read the release notes from nvidia 

i let my windwos update handle it to be honest i don't bother unless the windows update screw things up

If I'm not mistaken Nvidia had a few broken drivers recently. So likely hotfixes to address these issues. 

 

Or maybe game optimizations. They seem to do those more often than AMD.
