I did notice the yellow bands and I do find the colour a bit off putting. I'd rather see bright neon pink bands instead of yellow.

But overall, I don't really care. It won't stop me from watching LTT content or anything.

 

I'm just surprised his dentist even accepted to do these braces instead of invisalign. Feels like every dentists I saw recommend that these days (also planning for braces next year).

Most will do either. However it depends on what you need done on which is the better route. Invisalign can't fix some things, making braces mandatory for some situations.  I know for my son the orthodontist recommended Invisalign, even said it would be faster. Both Invisalign and Braces were identical in cost. However, braces are popular right now with kids, so guess which one my son chose....

He addressed this on the WAN show a couple weeks ago. Certain foods he eats dye the color of his braces but he isn't interested in changing dietary habits which is his right. 

 

Your right is to look over it or to not watch the content and either of those options are completely valid.
