Ubisoft store and device compatibility

Hi,

 

I've been staying away from Uplay (or whatever they renamed it) for years because of how bad it was and how useless the customer support is. I'm considering giving them a second chance because of the range of devices I'm using but everything is so confusing about their way of handling licenses.

 

If I have a gaming PC running Steam, an iPad Pro, and a MacBook, how can I make sure that I will be able to play my AAA titles like Assassin's Creed Mirage or Prince of Persia across all devices? For instance, if I buy it on Steam, would it be linked to my Ubisoft account and therefore playable on my iPad?

Steam is the safest as ubisoft has often messed up licenses on uplay before

If it is available in the ubisoft connect library yes else no. This is super random if a game gets added there. Only way to know is to look in the library of connect
