GPU effect where m.2 storage goes?

Looking to upgrade storage and use my second m.2 slot but it would be behind my gpu. Would the gpu head effect the cooling? I have a PRIME B650M-A AX6 II model mother board and a 5080 in the computer.

Sounds like his ssd is already in that slot, if he's claiming the secondary one is under the gpu .  He's got them backwards.

 

Either way he'll be fine.

Who knows, OP isn't clear. There is a 3rd slot on the backside of that board too.

considering it's a pre-built, could be they used the second slot in order to dedicate all PCIe 5.0 lanes to the GPU, but the manual doesn't mention anything about the PCIe lane sharing.
