Will this be a nice upgrade? You can see my current build in my sig. But here it is if you can't see it:

CPU: Intel Core i5 4570

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-B85M-HD3

RAM: Crucial Ballistix BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU

GPU: HIS HD 6770 1GB

Case: Bitfenix Phenom mATX Black

HHD: WD Blue WD10EZEX

PSU: Some random old 300W

 

Upgrade:

Case: Corsair Carbide Air 240

PSU: Corsair CX430M

 

I am probably going to add some lights (NZXT CB-LED10-WT 12x White LED Sleeve - 1m)

anyhow, case is optional, wont change anything, but a good quality PSU is important if you dont want your computer to fry, but the thing that would give you the best boost is a better gpu

well, I don't need that. The GPU I have now is just fine for me. I don't play games and I don't think I will.

i see no SSD on your list, that would be a huge speed increase of anything you put on it, so looks(case, lights, or silent fans) and a SSD would be the things that seem worth thinking about for you then.

They are too expensive for me.

If you don't game on the pc and only use it for the internet, watching youtube etc then that current psu MIGHT be ok. I have used cheap psu's in pc's for office type builds as there is literally no stress on the 12V rail. It's not good practice though

Get a 500w corsair cxm and then keep the case and save for a new gpu or a ssd
