Hey

Which one is better?

Dual Gpu or one more Powerfull Gpu

Asus says that their Mars 760 is faster/better than a Titan Black. haha

The 760 is a little bit faster when it comes to core clock but i dont know which one is better...

I hope somebody can help me :)

Statistics ~ the science of creating lies with figures, graphs and charts! :D

I am not sure where they got those figures and how much of the stated performance their cards can deliver. Their engineered sample could have broken all those stated records... but there is no guarantee we would get the same. Secondly, ROG cards are awfully expensive... you can easily get a 770 Direct CUII or a 290(non reference) at almost same price.

mars 760 is dual 760's, I think it would be pretty powerful.  Correct me if I'm wrong<<<<

Really? I did not know that.

After checking their website... its a dual GPU running 2 760 chips on a single PCB in SLI... sounds neat.

I still don't believe 2 760 in SLI beating a Titan Black or 780Ti though :P

Correction ~ @Agility

I think MARS is an okay card... if you want to splurge 650$ on a dual GPU non reference card made by ASUS... go for it! :)

read my previous post ~ there's a link to Tom's Hardware's review of this item... you might be able to make a more informed decision after reading it! :)

I think the Mars is cool but I would base my decision on pricing. In some applications it has similar performance to a single 780 or 780 ti but as an SLI user i would warn against those numbers. Lots of games still have problems with SLI and it does not scale perfectly so there is more fiddling with the setting with a card like this. Linus covers this problem and more in the video below but I would say look at the price, If it cost significantly less then a good single card then get it but know it will take more work on your part for gaming.

Two 660 ti's were faster than a titan when linus benchmarked them awhile back, and the 760 is essentially a 660 ti

The GPU's you have are much older, when SLI was still quite young, I myself and many of my friends that have SLI with recent cards have extremely little issues, the drivers + cards themselves have come extremely far IMO.

The only issue I've ever had is with beta drivers, and that's because they're beta drivers.

(not trying to be mean or start an argument on the off-chance I came off like that, just stating my experience with SLI in recent-aspects)

wow... that's amazing. But I like single GPU setup more than 2 way SLI from the start.

The benchmarks are ALL without an MSAA enabled. I'm of the opinion that if you enable any for of AA at all the Titan starts to kill the 760 SLI.

Yeah that is very true it's getting better, but it is still an issues for some new and beta games (Titanfall, MWO, Trials Evolution are all recent examples I have played) because dev teams choose not to support SLI right at launch. As for my current graphic card set up is due to my two 460's dying. I don't know how recent your cards are but I was having problems with the 460's from time to time as well, again because the devs of those particular game did not support the SLI feature.

2 780s, I think titanfall beta supported my cards, but I honestly can't remember, I only played the beta for a few games and went back to playing my other games since I didn't really understand what on earth was going on lol

If I see it for cheap I may actually get it, but I dunno.

2 660 ti's were about neck and neck with a Titan, a single 760 is very similar in performance to a single 670, so 2 would give or take be similar performance to 2 670, which I think would be a bit better than a 780 ti.

760 Mars is better but that 2GB will hold you down, better get a 780 Ti.

So if the MARS isn't that good, can you recommend me one?

For something about 400-500€? :)
