Just wanted to share some results of what is achievable with a frame cap in RTSS with framegen as it massively boosts the 1 and 0.1 percent lows.
I also tested p cores only vs all cores but it was worse as depicted in the graphs

The first Graph is with front edge sync which is one of the capping methods and the second is with async.

Front edge sync giver near perfect frame pacing and frame times but the async isn't terrible either, async according to RTSS has the best latency out of the two but Front edge has the best pacing, as you can tell in the frame time graph the line is a lot thinner

the last graph has standard deviation which measure how much and often the fps deviates from the average and lower is better

i honestly had no precibal difference when running the benchmark both looked equally smooth and felt the same latency wise

the benchmark run was a loop around the first base of operations you get which was out in the open world and passing multiple mobs of zombies

i always use a frame cap when gaming as these 2 options massively improve 1 percent lows and its a huge upgrade in smoothness and frame pacing vs running uncapped with or without frame gen

this is also how i fix my 1 percent lows with frame gen enabled !

Even without frame regurgitation it a good idea to cap the frame rate for smoother gameplay.

Indeed, I just wanted to share this tho becuase 1 percent lows are always shown as terrible with frame gen
