Should I get another GPU or a new Monitor for 150?

My good monitor broke (1600*900) and now I am using some 4:3 aspect ratio monitor, I wanted to buy a new monitor for $150 but I realized that I could get another 7850 for the same price. I need more FPS in game, but I also need a new monitor. Which should I get, any recommendations for a monitor?

acer's h236lbid is good, I believe that's a ~140$ IPS 1080p monitor

Personally, i would get the new card and then save up for a 120hz monitor.

Also one powerful GPU is always better than 2 less powerful GPUs... So if you plan to buy a new GPU, sell that one you've and with all you're total money buy a better one...

New monitor for sure. The Dell S2240M that I have is a fantastic IPS monitor with great viewing angles and very little lag. Its also not that expensive

I think that Dell S2240M is still on sale on Newegg for $120.
