I have an Omen Transcend 14 with a rtx 4060. I feel like my GPU might be bugged out because of the attached image. Theres also the problem of the computer screen randomly freezing and then making a loud buzzing noise for like 3-5 seconds. Any thoughts?image.thumb.png.d1df01b6625e0357c3be193cf031c392.png

Bright green and purple like this usually indicate a VRAM problem with the GPU.

I have personally encountered this twice with normal GPU's and they had to be swapped out. They were dead.

This is not good, not good at all.

Huh?  Looks like the video is bugged out, but the rest of the website is fine.

Do other Youtube videos do this?  May be a codex issue, corruption maybe?

Though the freezing and buzzing is concerning.

DDU your GPU drivers and reinstall them using the Nvidia App. Also monitor your temps while idle and at load, if your temps are fine and it continues to do these symptoms after the DDU and fresh drive installation I'd say the card is failing which on a laptop is not good, you'd likely be looking at needing to buy a new laptop.

It is still under warranty, do you suggest I get my laptop filed for warranty immediately?

As mentioned, you can try to use DDU as mentioned by @SpookyCitrus

But personally I would just warranty it asap.

If it's still under warranty I'd do an image backup of your OS and send the laptop in for RMA asap, especially if your warranty is almost up. Just have them fix it or replace the computer regardless.

whats an image back up of my OS and how do i do that

An image backup is an exact backup copy of your full OS exactly how it is now. Settings, Programs, Files, Documents, etc. If you have important information you do not want to lose, and want to be able to restore it to how it was, an image backup is a necessity. If you do not have an image or file backup MSI will wipe your laptop while it is in for repair and everything on it will be lost.

You can use the Windows Backup settings in Windows or a program such as Macrium Reflect to create an image backup on an external storage drive.

If you are not worried about any programs or data on your computer and nothing is super important you can send it in for RMA without doing a backup, just know the computer will be setup like new when you get it back and all of your personal data and programs will be gone.

It got sent to HP for repair under warranty. They just deemed it as a “windows error” or a software error, would have preferred if they swapped out the gpu
