I have bought a gigabyte G6 kf(2023).

And I have realised that the headphone jack doesn't work properly.

When I plug in my headphones in the microphone/headphone jack the audio gets passed through but the mic doesn't work.

But when I connect the headphone with Bluetooth it works fine but the audio quality is really bad and there's a delay.

I have tried installing the audio driver from gigabyte's website but the issue still persists

First image is the sound devices when the headphone are connected via Bluetooth and the other is with the aux cord

ok 3 things...

1. them are more "phone" headsets

2 that "jack" cable is a 2in1. comps cant use it. they need separate mic and headphone jacks where phones have the 2 in 1 jacks. (it might work with this adapter adapter and these cables cables) sorry couldnt find an all in one

3 bluetooth on a comp. theres complaints everywhere about either poor quality or mic or head set not working or sounds crappy. especially with those headphones

think thats why a lot of headsets have their own dongle

which would be what some have found this
After connection my headphones via Bluetooth, they codec A2DP was used. With this codec, I had no microphone listed.
Changing the used codec to HFP, a microphone was listed.

Did it work, yes it did. But the sound quality using HFP was not as good using A2DP.

You can change your used codec, by selecting your headphone in the listed Bluetooth devices
