I have a Chromebook I bought with my own money that I use for school, but it’s agonizingly slow even while doing non intensive courses. The trackpad’s iffy too and the damn thing gets blazing hot fast. My parents hit me with the “you bought it for school so you shouldn’t use anything else for school” whenever I try to use my literal 1200 dollar pc that will run school easily and will hover over me nonstop and make comments about my mistakes while I do school until I cave and use the shitty Chromebook (this exact scenario happened many times last school year). I want to brick my Chromebook so I can get an excuse to use my good pc that won’t kill me of old age if I dare try to open hs and college lessons at once to multitask. How do I do it? I want a way only I know how to undo if need be.
